Types of Carpet

Carpet is manufactured in different constructions to give each style of carpet it's own look and feel.  Cut-pile carpets are made to have a soft, warm, more luxurious feel.  While loops give a tougher, more casual look. The twist level and density of a carpet will also create different textures and appearances.  Below are the standard types of carpet available.
